Mansfield Open Studio Trail - MOST - is a FREE annual event held on the Melbourne Cup weekend celebrating community, creativity and our beautiful Victorian High Country.
Visitors can explore Mansfield Shire on a self-guided tour, discovering the artists of our region.
Join us this year on

10.30 am to 4.30 pm each day
Gain an insight into the inner workings of an artist's studio, talk techniques and ideas with artists, enjoy live demonstrations, view artworks and works in progress, and purchase directly from the maker.
Explore the quality and diversity of art practice within our local artistic community, including painting, drawing, ceramics, mosaics, recycled art, photography, textiles, digital art, sculpture, guitar-making and printing.
This concept was originally the idea of well-known local artist, Wendy Jagger, who has been opening her own studio since 2010 on the Melbourne Cup Weekend. Wendy says that after experiencing visitors’ interest in her work during her open studios, and having been involved in the Dandenong Ranges open studios event in the past, she decided to gather a network of artists together to create an exciting event in her adopted home town of Mansfield. And so MOST came into being.
2026 will be the 8th edition of MOST. It has evolved from just 4 artists in 2019, and thousands of visitors have explored the Mansfield Shire artists' studios.
We are continuing to grow and welcome you to join us on the journey this year.

OUR FOUNDER
Wendy Jagger
A painter and ceramicist, Wendy Jagger, came up with the idea for MOST. She has been opening her own studio in Mansfield since 2010 on the Cup Weekend.

Felicity Hayward
Artist Felicity Hayward is a mixed media artist, art therapist and word smith who manages our advertising, marketing, admin and this year's team. She is also the coordinator of The Bower Studio Gallery.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Jacqueline Bosscher
Working from her off-grid alpine studio, boue studio, in ceramics and sculpture, Jacqueline Bosscher is the curator of our exhibition and designer of our marketing materials.
THE ADMIN &
SPONSOR WHISPERER
Cécile Berger
Cécile Berger utilizes her considerable administrative experience to coordinate the sponsorship and our back office. She works with encaustic wax at The Bower Studio Gallery.

Jeff Reid
He transforms wood into beautiful furniture in his Mansfield studio. But Jeff Reid also helps you get around the Mansfield Open Studio Trail with signage. He works with timber and resin at The Bower Studio Gallery.

Rhonda Parcel is Jeff's right hand woman, and when she isn't busy painting from her Mansfield studio, she is planning the routes around MOST. She creates mixed media works at The Bower Studio Gallery.
