Anne Patterson

My Story

Anne is a mosaic artist. She took lessons in 2018 and has been exploring the many styles of mosaic ever since. She mostly enjoys pique-assiette (plate picker or plate thief) using broken crockery crockery. Stained glass mosaics are also a favourite style.

Being a member of MAANZ (Australian and New Zealand Mosaic Association) has enabled Anne to be involved in community projects, she contributed to the Common Unity Project. Stobie poles around South Australia being mosaiced. Anne meets up with other mosaic artists from around northeast Victoria once a year.

Anne also likes to do online courses and finds inspiration from her studio library.

2026 is Anne’s first time participating in MOST.
