My Story
Elsie Leatham is a 15-year-old artist. She works mainly with digital media as well as graphite, ink, and other mixed media.
Elsie Leatham is a digital and mixed-media artist. She is currently in year 9 at Mansfield Secondary College where she loves design and music.
Working from her home in Merton, Elsie draws inspiration from the music she loves to listen to and play, and the people in her life. Elsie has kept an art journal for several years, drawing and writing whenever an idea hits.
When creating digital artwork, Elsie uses an iPad Pro and Apple pencil in Procreate and Adobe Photoshop. She also works in pen and ink, acrylic paint, graphite, copic markers… anything she can find!
In 2021 Elsie was awarded the Arts Mansfield Youth 3 Faces Portrait Prize with her portrait of Colleen Reynolds. She has participated in MOST for the past 2 years, displaying and selling digital prints. This year she will be showing a mix of digital prints and traditional artworks.
