Elsie McCormack pots alongside her grandmother and Mum in the old woodshed on the family farm.
She hand builds individual vases, plates, jewellery and small vessels using stoneware. She incorporates plants from the home garden into much of her work. After studying textile design and development at RMIT, Elsie enjoys discovering new textures and creating colours with oxides on her clay work.
She has been familiar with clay from a young age and is the 4th generation of potters in her family.
