Linda Tucker is a Textile Artist, working with rope and fabric to create unique bowls and trays.
Creativity has been a big part of Linda's life since she was a child. It has led her to experiencing many types of craft but particularly those involving textiles and machine sewing. Her projects have include an award-winning wall quilt and interpreting an antique quilt, for which she received recognition at State level.
While living in Mildura, Linda perfected the art of fabric dyeing and painting, selling her fabrics at quilt and craft shows in Melbourne. She also designed and published her own patterns for quilts.
Her experience over the years has led her to teach extensively, sharing her love of patchwork and hand embroidery.
Now retired and settled in Mansfield, she is developing a unique range of rope items and quilts that she sells at Made in Mansfield.
