My Story
Pamela is a Realist/Impressionist Artist who works in oil, watercolour, pastel and many drawing mediums.
Her subjects include still life, landscape and portrait/figurative works. She loves to capture the light and atmosphere in her subjects.
She conducts a tutored watercolour class once a week, and has a life drawing group once a week, both held at her studio in Bonnie Doon. Life drawing, she believes, is one of the best ways to achieve correct observation of any subject.
Pam also enjoys plein air painting (outdoors, from life).
She has won numerous prizes for her work over the years, including 3 times winner of the “3 Faces” competition in Mansfield.
Pam is a member of the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors in East Melbourne and exhibits with these Art Societies at their seasonal Exhibitions, as well as local Rotary shows.
Pamela taught Watercolour and Life Drawing briefly at V.A.S. before leaving Melbourne to live permanently at the family farm in Bonnie Doon, where she built her Art Studio in 2005.
