My Story
Sherrie Jones is relatively new to using the welder and has no formal training. She has watched her beloved husband, Chris Jones from CAOS Concepts, for the last 24 years, dream, draft, weld, and create the most amazing artwork. Three years ago, Sherrie had an accident, and she had to give up her gardening career. That is when Sherrie picked up the welder full-time and started the next chapter of her life.
Sherrie has always had a love affair with the art world. Once again, no formal training in the art industry other than back at school, she loved everything about Art and completed Art in VCE. One of Sherrie’s favourite artists is Frank Lloyd Wright, in particular, his abstract work.
Sherrie mainly concentrates on Scrap metal, corten steel, and Rocks. She is always on the lookout for that unique piece of scrap metal or rock. She gets excited when she finds something special, and then there is no stopping her.
She creates some amazing spheres and puts commercial-grade solar lights in them. At night, your garden takes on a new dimension. Sherrie has been working on some commissioned Spheres over the last couple of months and has started the next collection of steel scrap button torsos.
