My Story
The Clay Stables is a unique member-based pottery community right in the township of Mansfield. Proudly showcasing and selling pottery of our talented members during MOST, our studio offers much more than just a workspace - it’s a vibrant hub for local creativity.
Housed within a charming century-old heritage building that once served as the Mansfield Police Stables, The Clay Stables beautifully blends rustic history with artistic inspiration. With its hand-sawn timber walls, vintage wood tables, pottery wheels, and kilns, the space exudes warmth and character, making it a beloved spot for both seasoned potters and newcomers alike.
More than a studio – MAD Potters’ mission is clear: “To bring the clay-lovers of Mansfield and surrounds together, fostering a welcoming environment in which to share ideas, knowledge, and skills in the craft of pottery.”
New members are always welcome, and MOST is the perfect time to visit the Studio and learn more about joining in. Whether you’re a seasoned potter or just starting out, this is a friendly space where everyone can create, explore, and connect.
